Matt Nation is a songwriter,  music producer/composer and independent artist based in Los Angeles whose music embraces Pop, alt-pop, alt hip-hop, and other influences into a sound that is uniquely his own. His approach to music blends infectious melodies with raw emotion and honest lyrics.

 

Matt Nation has headlined at The Mercury Lounge through Live Nation, The Delancey, Rockwood Music Hall and The Bowery Electric in New York. He has also performed shows in Los Angeles at Harvard & Stone,  Hotel Ziggy, Adults Only, Bar Lubitsch, Madame Siam, BoomFest and Kushstock Festival. 

 

“Self Ctrl” is Matt Nation’s latest  release on all music platforms. “Self Ctrl”  is a pop anthemic song on the struggle against self-caused monotony, breaking out of the hamster-wheel that is life and how the social norms restrain the true self.
